A history lesson that couldn't be more fun and creative!
Geared towards the third grade, the educational traveling trunks meet Washington
State grade level expectations. Trunks contain everything a teacher needs for a
three to four week curriculum with the exception of glue sticks, butcher paper and
color crayons. The lesson plans are meticulously thought out and easy to follow.
The trunks are in great demand and used year-round -- book yours now to be sure
you get one! Teachers and home school moms consistently evaluate them as
superior, outstanding, wonderful, great and thorough. Their testimonials that
follow say it well:

"The kids loved it - we did too!"

"My class and I loved this unit. It truly gave us a taste of early Tacoma.
They looked forward to each lesson..."

"The lessons are to the point, highly motivating, and manageable.
My class and I really learned a lot."

"I have nothing but praise and admiration for a truly fine program."

Classes that use our educational trunks
during the school year are eligible to
participate in our poster design contest
for the Pioneer Day Festival & Walking
Tour. Information will be inside the
trunks. Blind judging will be by the
museum's Board of Directors and the
top three winners will be introduced at
the festival on July 16, 2011.

See you there!
