2026 Summer StoryWalk
During the Museum's Summer Hours
Tacoma's Old Town Park
Story Walk is an interactive literacy program to engage people of all ages. Enjoy a leisurely walk while a reading a picture book together.
Our 2026 StoryWalk features Bing's Cherries written by Livia Blackburne and illustrated by Julia Kuo. This pop-up display is available during the Museum's summer hours (weather pending).

Chinese Reconcilitation Park

Celebrate the 14th Annual Tacoma Moon Festival, a vibrant display of Tacoma’s multicultural identity! This event features food, arts and crafts, community organizations, and performances from Tacoma’s diverse heritage and immigrant communities.
The Tacoma Moon Festival is free, open to all, and family-friendly. Join us for a joyful celebration of community, culture, and connection under one moon.

On 9/26, experience the 5th Annual Tacoma Fiber Fling. This all ages event features fiber arts demonstrations, textile displays, and hand-crafted items made by local artists, plus live music and community arts activities.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
Raffle drawing will be held at The Spar at 8pm on Monday 11/7. You do not need to be present to win.
