Donate to the Job Carr Cabin Museum
The Job Carr Cabin Museum relies on contributions from our community to keep our museum free and open to the public, and to provide equitable local history education for schools across Pierce County and beyond. Your support funds social studies curriculum and field trips that reach thousands of students each year and research that keeps local history alive for people of all ages. Why? Learning local history connects us to the place we call home. It inspires civic engagement, care for our community, and conversations about the stories that shape who we are today and who we can be tomorrow.
JCCM was founded 25 years ago through a grassroots effort to preserve the stories of Tacoma.
Your gift today sustains this work into the next 25 years.

where they make their home and speak the Lushootseed language.
